General Information

Liability

Before installing, user shall determine the suitability of the product for the intended use. User assumes all risk and liability. The seller’s and manufacturer’s only obligation shall be to replace such quantity of product proven to be incorrectly shipped and/ or defective. Neither seller nor manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential arising out of the use of or the inability to use the product. User accepts the responsibility of removing from service any product that becomes worn, “worn-out”, unusable or defective in such a way as to make the product a potential safety hazard. The foregoing may not be altered except by an agreement signed by officers of the seller and manufacturer.

Freight Terms

All prices are F.O.B. McCrann Custom flooring’s warehouse unless otherwise indicated in our price pricelist or quotations. McCrann Custom Flooring is not responsible for inside delivery charges, re-delivery charges, or extra charges for “Notification of Arrival”. Customer is responsible for identifying damaged freight on the Bill of Lading at time of delivery. Failure to do so may lead default of claim.

Terms of Sale

Net 30 days. Overdue accounts may be subject to an additional charge of 2% per month.

Return of Merchandise

Prior written approval must be obtained for all returned merchandise. Where authorization is granted, a restocking charge of 20% plus freight may be applied assuming product is returned in resalable condition. This applies to stock items only. There is no return of custom fabricated mats, materials and/or non-stock products ordered at a customer’s request. All returns expire 30 days from date of issue.

Tolerances - Entrance Mats

Custom surface mats, +/- ½ in.

Custom recessed mats, +/- ¼ in.

Full rolls and factory finished individual mats are subject to +/- 3% variance in width and/or length.

Pricing

Pricing for full rolls will be based on the marked roll lengths provided by the manufacturer. Pricing on irregular cut lengths will be based on ¼ ft (3 in.) increments. Prices are in Canadian or US Dollars, applicable taxes are not included. Prices are subject to change without notice. Please feel free to call for current pricing and product availability. Errors and omissions excepted.

EXTENSION OF CREDIT

1) New Customers Normal credit clearance requires 14 business days. To avoid delays in shipment, adequate and accurate credit information must be supplied with all purchase orders through the completion in full of our credit application accompanied by the appropriate signatures. If a new customer is in a RUSH for material, the order will be shipped upon approval of VISA, Master Card or cash-in-advance. Businesses less than one year old will be considered as non-credit customer, unless otherwise established.

2) Established customers who buy regularly or who have bought in the past, and delay their payments considerably beyond our regular terms of net 30 days will require special handling as follows:

a) Accounts with charges beyond 60 days (from date of invoice) will be put on credit hold until payment on these invoices has been received in full. Accounts in excess of 90 days may lose credit status.

b) If a customer develops a poor credit history with us, our policy will be to request an approved VISA, MasterCard, or cash-in-advance prior to shipping.

3) Visa and Master Card Purchases may be paid for by Visa or Master Card at time of order. If Visa or Master Card is used to make payment on your credit account after terms have been taken, there will be a 3% service charge applied. Quotes All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified; errors and omissions are exempt. Take-Offs, Architectural Plans, Specifications and Custom Logo Mats Cutting schedules, sizes, directions of traffic for mats, quantities, and specifications, etc. are all the responsibility of the User (Dealer / Distributor / Agent). McCrann Custom Flooring personnel may assist the User or verify the accuracy of the User’s take- off, however the responsibility remains with the User. Signed shop drawings and a deposit will be required on certain products.

Orders

We reserve the right to require fax or e-mail confirmation when deemed necessary.

These policies supersede all previous price lists and/or policies.

If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13 years of age, the personal data will be deleted as soon as possible.
